Carhartt is definitely a well-known brand for work gear and apparel. So I was happy (but wary) to see them at a very reasonable price. Cheap - garbage is always a compromise in such cases. I mainly use them for outdoor work in the garden (mowing, weeding, pruning, etc.). They stay perfectly in place even when you sweat. The color and properties of the lenses actually bring the picture to life, improving contrast well and protecting brightness. I take very good care of it, so I didn't really test the scratch resistance, but random debris flew in my face and got into the lenses while trimming/edging. There are no markings on the lenses at all. If for some reason I need a second one, or these break or damage -- I'll probably buy again!
