Great buy for less than $20

Having used this product in my daily life for the past few weeks I can say that this is a reliable product. I recently got a new laptop for uni and was looking for a sturdy case to give it extra protection when carrying it in my main backpack. I'm pretty rough on my backpack and I'm concerned that the padding in the laptop compartment isn't enough to protect the laptop itself. That's why I bought this case. My main requirements for the case were water resistance, general build quality, fit and the ability to carry accessories. The water resistance was quite good. I tested this by placing a piece of paper in each of the compartments and spraying water on the major surfaces. Water does not penetrate the fabric, but some water seeps through the zippers. This case should withstand a few splashes in the rain, but don't throw it in the pool. I would give it a 4.5/5 for build quality. The fabric material on the outside is very nice and repels water quite well according to my water test above. Underneath the shell material is a water-resistant synthetic lining that does most of the work of keeping the water out. Inside the main compartment is a fabric divider with one side made of microfiber material and the other side made of plastic. The microfiber feels very soft and is great for holding touchscreen devices like tablets or any other device you want to protect from scratches. The three accessory pockets also have a plastic insert. All the zippers are very slick at the moment, and none of them have caught. However, the only thing that bothers me is the fabric handle at the top. It is made of the same material as the outer shell, but has no additional reinforcement material. I wish it was made of a thicker or more durable material, but only time can tell the durability of the device. The stitching on the case is also very good, with no visible fraying or places where it could come undone. However, the strength of the stitching and grip can only really be tested with prolonged use. The padding itself is also satisfactory in my opinion. Your laptop will probably survive a fall of a few feet with it. However, there is no "hard" padding on the case at all, so I would avoid larger drops if possible. For the size and fit of the case itself, I would give it a 4.5/5. I have a Dell Latitude E5450 laptop; modest 14-inch business laptop and fits in very well. The laptop slides in and out very well and keeps the laptop safe and tidy during transport. While this size probably won't fit 15.6-inch laptops, any modern 14-inch laptop will do. The case also has some space, so I might be able to stow a folder or a tablet. Accessory bags I would give 5/5. Given the nature of this /sleeve I was surprised I could fit in, not only was I able to fit my laptop in, but I could also fit an AC adaptor, a small travel mouse, a battery pack and a couple of flash drives. Photos are what I usually carry in a bag on a typical day. Anything I need for my laptop to be able to carry in the bag itself is a godsend for me. Macbook and Windows ultrabook/laptop users will have no problem with this product. In the long term, hull design knowledge can only be tested by time and use.
