I needed a splitter that separates HDCP from my HDMI signal to use with Elgato Cam Link 4K. It filled that need. The power supply has a red LED that indicates the presence of AC power. The splitter has a red LED to indicate that the splitter is receiving DC power. The splitter has 3 blue LEDs that indicate that the splitter is receiving an HDMI signal and which HDMI outputs are active. This product is very easy to use. Pros: - HDMI strip / Allows Sony PS3 HDMI output to be included - Metal body / Build Quality - Price Cons: - Cable length on PSU needs to be longer - Blue LEDs are really bright - No HDMI anymore - CEC, but I guess it happens to everyone splinters
