I have a brick home. The backyard has full southern exposure and has no trees that shade the house.During the summer, my central air is constantly running because the sun bakes the bricks like an oven.The sail was purchased to help reflect the sun away from the house while shading the garden.I installed it this past weekend- just in time for the temps to hit triple digits.The sail does not cover all the area i wanted.i will likely get a second of a different color and shape that will match the accent colors of the window frames.I think the layering of the sails will add to the look.We had quite a torrential storm today while i was at work. I feared the sail may not hold up in the torrential downpour.It did just fine.
