Review on WALI Floating Strengthened Accessories CS201 by Larry Willis

I really like these shelves. They are minimalist, which catches the eye. I have three of them (one single, one double). I have read reviews and found that if your item is exactly the same depth as a shelf then it will hang down the wall due to the space required for the cables at the back. I solved this problem by installing the shelf on a wooden base that was slightly wider than the metal wall mount that came with the kit. This fixed the cable space issue on my PS and Cbox 360. On my Xbox One I still had to get 90 degree connectors (which you can find good quality/cheap on Revain) as the USB ports on the original Xbox console One are lined up with a metal bracket, but even with the 90 -Grade USB port caps on the back give my power cord and HDMI cord enough room to clean (tightly) without damaging the cords, and all four rubber feet do it on the shelf. I think if someone trips over one of them they can be damaged or smashed. That worries me. But they look great, especially if you mount them on a wooden base they will really enhance your playroom/office. One final note: the glass turns pitch black. It is not transparent like sunglasses or car windows. Light does not penetrate glass. If it's important to you, then maybe you don't want it.
