Review on 🎧 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - Urbanears Stadion Active Team Edition (04091873) by Faye Wright

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lots of flaws but no alternatives to this style

The reviews here tend to be very accurate, but I still find them to be a better solution compared to the alternatives. Reasons to Buy: 1. They don't fit over the ears , so you can still hear the cars of the people around you, and you can wear them for long periods or during childbirth without your ears sweating. Pretty much every other headphone I've looked at relies on it for good sound. They don't rest on your shoulders. Headphones that do this will pop or flop out of your ear when you move with energy.3. They are attached to each other with easy-to-find controls.4. Battery life is not an issue for me.5. I'm not a music lover at all, but they sound good to me, nice full sound (for headphones). Cons: So I should start by noting that while there are many cons, they are still the only ones I would want to buy at this price point.1. They don't go well with thick-legged [sunglasses], since both have to sit behind the ear. 2. The range of Bluetooth is incredibly short. I mostly use my phone (Samsung s7 and Pixel 2 XL) in my jeans pocket, listening to music. When my phone is pointed there the music cuts out like a bouncing CD, when it's the other way around it works, but it's easy to knock over by leaning against the counter, for example. It just amazes me that a product can be so bad in a basic function. Even my $50 Phillips bluetooth headphones have no problem with it.3. I have medium sized (male) ears and need to use the smallest eartips. My wife can't use them.4. As with other reviewers, the battery cover on my first pair didn't fit properly so it wouldn't close and the only solution was to remove it. Which didn't seem to matter except for water protection. Based on my sample size (2) there is a 50% chance of this happening. IMHO the buttons break at the break in front, they make sense looking at the product but not to me when worn.6. Shaping the buttons is a cool idea, but in practice it didn't really help me figure out which ones to press unless I actually felt them. The wind noise when cycling is epic, my previous wired Apple earbuds obviously have some wind noise but it was nothing compared to that. Based on all of the above, the world still recommends buying it if any of the downsides aren't a problem for you. If there is an alternative, I will immediately abandon ship. It amazes me that a modern product can have so many fixable flaws or fail basic quality controls.
