Review on πŸ’§ Neutrogena Hand Cream Norwegian Formula - 2 Oz (5 pack): Deep Moisturizing & Long-lasting Relief by Kimberly Bryant

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I tried everything but my hands were still rough and sore - then my sister gave me a tube of it!

Between normal everyday cooking and cleaning, cooking fresh vegetables 2-3 times a day for our 2 parrots, and caring for my spouse who is recovering from a stroke, including previously 'shared' household chores such as garbage taking them out, emptying the litter box, washing the dogs, etc. My hands were always red, rough and cracked, and I kept getting small "tears" on my skin, especially in cold weather. I've tried everything; Grocery store/pharmacy hand creams, prescription products, an "extra protective" balm from the farm store, even a night moisturizer with moisturizing gloves and paraffin treatments, but they all left my hands either slimy or washed out. Nothing lasted long enough for my hands to actually heal. At Christmas with my sister, I mentioned how my hands hurt and that nothing helped. She gave me a tube of Norwegian formula Neutrogena and said it was a "miracle formula". She warned me that it would be "weird" at first and not use too much, but stick with it for a few days and see the difference. She was right about everything. It seemed a bit "waxy" at first, but by day 2 my hands started to crack less; within a week i was amazed - my hands were healed - even the tears on my skin were practically gone! I ordered a "5 pack" from Revain, VERY surprised at the price as I spent more than just 1 tube of Rx cream! The tube my sister gave me lasted much longer than I expected, although I repeated the product many times throughout the day, especially in the beginning. It was 2 years ago; I still use it several times a day. I raved about it so much I ended up gifting 3 of those first 5 tubes to friends; they all became converts too! My only "warnings" are: 1) there are multiple versions of this product with slight packaging differences, so make sure you get THIS, and 2) don't overdo it. "And use too much at once! Start with a small amount and spread on your hands; the product is quite thick, but the warmth of your skin will cause it to spread further than you expect - you can always add more but you will find that you need less than you would expect. As my hands have healed I have also found that I need one less application to keep my hands soft and hydrated.I can Can't recommend this hand cream enough!
