five stars for a toy that is only slightly broken? Yes. My son is very rough with this toy - pulled, wrapped around things, dragged around the house and thrown. One of the little sticks that help straighten the tape measure to roll it up has fallen off and the plastic pin holding it has broken. To be honest I didn't expect this toy to last as long as we used it. Things that could be improved: The roller is a bit small for adult hands - my 3.5 year old seems quite ok with it. Also the numbers on the tape measure don't count consecutive inches but start over and count from 1 to 12 for each foot. Overall I am very happy with the durability of this tape measure!
