Review on Insulated Protective Alpicool Portable Refrigerator Appliances by Johnathan Hegie

A good addition to the fridge

So far so good. I like the fridge cover. It fits Alpicool CF55 like a glove. It has a Reflectix style interior with fine padding. Not only do I appreciate that the interior stays cool and warm, but I also appreciate the padding this cover provides as I can store the fridge between the front seats of my van and can lean it and put things on it. So double physical protection. I like that the display and the control buttons are always visible thanks to the cut-out. I like that the suitcase is wrapped from the bottom up as the front center floor of my van gets hot when driving since the train ramp is right under my fridge. The only downside I see is that the lid opens to the side while the CF55 lid opens front to back. It's a bit inconvenient because of where I keep my fridge. Luckily, when the front of the fridge faces the back of the van, the lid opens right-to-left (opens to the passenger seat), which is preferable for parking access, but not solo driving. Not a deal breaker at all. Just something to know if you have a specific spot in your car in mind.
