I've had quite a few duvet covers over the past few years, most of which can be machine washed and then tumble dried on low temperatures. I was happy to see that Micbridal's had the same wash/dry instructions on the label which I think makes it low maintenance. Unfortunately, the dry, scratchy feeling that came with it didn't go away when I washed it. The duvet cover was like a brown burlap sack and it was uncomfortable to sleep on (I had to pull the duvet out of the drawer in the middle of the night). It's also prone to wrinkling, which I also photographed after immediately taking it out of the dryer and laying it flat to avoid those wrinkles. So. I like color blocking because it suits my decor. I ended up putting a comforter on the bed in the spare room, but made sure to have a more fitting comforter on top when the guests arrived.
