I walk 5 miles a day and these are the best hiking shoes I've ever had. They are so light, so comfortable, it's like walking on clouds. They're easy to put on, no laces to tie. Thanks to the retractable handle, they are very easy to put on. They wash easily when they get a little dusty and they don't smell when sweaty. I bought my two daughters a pair and they love them too. Update: I've been wearing these shoes for about 6 weeks. I usually wear a size 8.5 but there wasn't an 8.5 available so I had to buy either an 8 or a 9. I settled on an 8. After running 5 miles I noticed the top of my big toe was getting sore from being hit. Upper in the shoe when I walk (I walk very fast). This means the size 8 is too small as my fingers shouldn't be touching the top of the shoe. I'm afraid a size 9 would be too big. The last thing you need are flexible shoes when you walk. So I ended up with a size 8, I will try a size 9. I'll try a 9 and leave an update. Update: I tried size 9 and it didn't work. As my usual size is 8.5, the size 9 runs a bit large, which causes them to slip a bit on the heel when walking. After two days of walking, when they slipped and rubbed the heel, a blister formed on the skin just above the heel, so I had to stop wearing them. This is my last look at these shoes. I bought a pair that was too small and a pair that were too big and didn't fit me. They didn't fit because they weren't my size. I'm a size 8.5, not an 8 or 9. I'm tired of wasting money on companies that don't make half sizes. I don't know why they don't do half sizes and I don't care either, but from now on if they don't do half sizes I'll shop elsewhere. We shouldn't buy shoes that aren't our size and make our feet uncomfortable, and I refuse to do that anymore. DONE!
