Within the first month of using this car seat, I had problems securing the car seat in the base. Everything else in the car seat worked like the sensor and side impact, but the fixation in the base got worse. Now I literally have to shake the car seat back and forth to get it to snap into the base and I even bought another base thinking that was the problem and I still have the same problem. I got this car seat because my son was in a car accident when he was 2 months old and I loved how it had a side impact and was good to use but after getting the car seat I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because it was it doesn't want to lock myself in the base. It takes me about 2-5 minutes to move the car seat before it locks into the base. This is a big safety issue for me because if the car seat doesn't lock into the base and there is an accident your child car seat will be thrown over the car.
