This monitor works well, it is very bright and shows very vivid colors. This is a 144Hz monitor and for those who still enjoy 1080p gaming, a good 27-inch gaming monitor will do. But for some reason when using Display Port, turning off the monitor resets all your icons and windows as if the monitor could only display 640x480 (or less). I mean it's because the computer loses communication entirely with the monitor every time it is turned off when using the display port. This problem does not exist when using one of the HDMI ports. I've even tried several displayport cables, cheap cables, expensive braided cables. All showed the same behavior. So I would say stay away from this monitor if you plan on using a display port on a PC. but if you want to use the HDMI ports it will probably work just fine. For the displayport issues I should have given it 3 stars, especially since displayports seems to be the new standard everyone is leaning towards. What about the fact that most new graphics cards now have 3 display ports and only 1 HDMI? Therefore, with newer graphics cards, you may have trouble using this monitor in multi-display configurations without using a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter or cable from your graphics card to the monitor's second HDMI port.
