Received this along with a 3D printed mat for my 9 year old. First, as with all of these 3D pens, it really takes a lot of practice before you get good results. However, this device really works. It heats up very quickly and installing the filament was pretty easy. You can leave the floss between uses, but make sure not to use the back button until the unit has warmed up. The packaging was pretty and included some starter PLA. Problems: 1. The speed button is weird. The slowest speed does not eject the filament at all and the highest speed is too slow2. There is no stand, the lack of a small piece of plastic means there is nowhere to put the pen3. The tip is plastic and has a habit of catching plastic on the way out. That's not typical of this pen, but the best pens have metal tips that make it much easier to remove stuck plastic.
