The insoles on them are terrible, literally the same material as in soft covers. Unfortunately, this means they are not meant to be removed and require a very tedious job of removing the adhesive (I personally cut it out with a flathead screwdriver on a Swiss Army knife-like tool). After taking them out and buying a cheap but thick set of insoles I was able to really enjoy these shoes. They have very little tendency to roll off the ankle due to the thickness/stiffness of the sole, but overall they are great. for money. Obviously they're made for driving, so sometimes I use them for walking to make some of their imperfections more visible. They look great overall, although I wish the tongue area was a bit larger near the toe as my pair already had a slight seam due to the curvature when walking/riding. I sincerely believe they can pass as dress shoes, but I may be in the minority with that opinion.
