I just got it so I don't know how well it will hold up but it seems like a decent belt. The canvas part is completely standard. Like all belts of this type, it is easily tailored to any waist size without the long end dangling from it. The clamshell buckle feels more secure than the more common buckle (which can loosen over time and your pants start to slip). Just measure the width of the belts you already know so as not to be mistaken. I won't be surprised by that. There seem to be two common widths for these canvas woven belts and this is the narrower one. Not a bad thing, but not as strong as the Levi's Men's Cotton Webbing Belt Black 42 that I've had for a long time.
