I mean there is an aftertaste that is very mild and lasts a few days but it really has almost no smell and coats my long hair. The kit comes with an elegant brush which my wife left behind and gave me her usual one. Now she wants me to order more because she loves it. The color is nice, of course, not what you get with cheaper paints. Looks great. Looks professional and comes highly recommended. One thing. I couldn't understand the language of the manual but it has numbers in it. 15 is the highest number and I assumed it meant minutes. I mixed two large tubes together and applied for 20 minutes even though 15 stood. Rinse out My hair was brown with auburn highlights. I was blown away by how natural it was because it was the color of my hair before it started going gray. It looks darker with gel or wet. Very good product.
