I bought a Casio Exilim S5 before I bought this camera. I used to have a favorite Casio so I decided to stick with the same brand. Little did I know the S5 didn't even come close to my old Casio. Upset that I had to return it, I went to local electronics stores to see what they recommended. Both stores I visited recommended this camera and said I was disappointed. They explained to me in detail what is the difference between this camera and the S5 and why the S5 does not take good pictures. I also remembered that I had a friend who had this camera, I played with it a bit and immediately realized that this is the camera for me. I ordered it and within two days it was on my doorstep. PROS: The Clear PicturesZoom feature works great, I was able to get very close to the subject and still get a clear picture. The video is good too, you can zoom during the video. mode that is nice to have. The camera is easy to use. The color is amazing (it's a red pink color as advertised but it's more of a hot pink which I like). The camera is well made and looks solid. The price is good. CONS: (If I had to think of any, not very important and definitely not a deal breaker) You can always refocus the camera here, which can be a bit annoying (but doesn't really matter because you always get a good picture) The camera is not as well thin as some cameras but not very thick by any means (the S5 I ordered was a thin camera but it was very cheap, this camera is thicker but seems well built and doesn't break easily, Personally, I would have preferred a thicker, well-made camera to a thin, cheap one.
