I just recently had the opportunity to use this kit. I was asked to cut a family member's hair and I was so embarrassed! Scissors can also be metal toys for Barbie dolls. First cut, don't cut anything! The blades are so blunt that my child's scissors would cut through them. Both the scissors and thinning scissors will snag and detach where they are screwed together. crest, forget it!
