I have used several different security systems, webcams, outdoor and indoor cameras, so I'm not new to the hardware and software used with these different systems. This product convinces me. with the care and quality that has been put into the hardware in particular. The available software and applications are also very well managed. It requires some attention and documentation attention to understand all features and to configure access to camera storage options, operation mode settings and storage of and access to captured videos and images. Also to be clear; This is not a live action/wifi access/live view camera like you might find in the "baby monitor" or "nanny" camera market. This camera has a different approach and purpose to taking pictures. You can view captured images on the camera's LCD screen, or download videos and images to your mobile device or computer using the supplied USB cable. As well as 8 long-lasting AA batteries, you can also use a 6V 2A power adapter to power it. The image resolution options are very impressive: you can choose the footage in smaller formats or in VERY high resolution save space in formats that show incredible detail and quality. Of course, these high-resolution images take up a lot of space on your storage media, so keep that in mind when installing an SD or micro SD card (in an SD holder). Media (SD cards) are not included with the camera. . However, I consider this a minor inconvenience since there are so many options. I used PNY 128GB Elite-X (class 10), micro SD, in SD mount; and it works great. Ordered a standard size SD card to compare recording quality and download speed. Also note: A class 10 SD card is required. I tried a slower non-class 10 SD card and it wasn't recognized. This requires a higher Class 10 SD speed. I don't have any videos or images to share here as my camera is used as a security camera in my computer workshop, but the ones I've created and reviewed are more impressive. than any small or many "professional" security systems I've seen before. I would recommend this camera to game camera enthusiasts and anyone looking for a low cost, easy to set up and use surveillance system. I've included some unboxing photos to show what's included. Be sure to remove the protective plastic from the LCD, camera and motion sensors. The documentation doesn't mention this. Otherwise, the washed out plastic protection will degrade the quality of these devices.
