I've been looking for some kind of scale light bar for my showcases for a while, on top of connecting shelves. The kit worked perfectly. I used clear tape to mount in front of the case. (You can also mount them inside the case if it's big enough. You just have to drill small holes in the bottom for the cables.) The 45 degree angle of the light face was just what I needed. The only problem I had was that they were too bright for my application. I ordered a can of black tinting spray that was used to set the taillights. You can control the brightness of how many layers you use. There is a transparent cover over the LEDs, so tinting does not interfere with work. The supplied connection cables are only required if you need additional space between the light bars. Now, at night, I can see models of my own cars, as well as the buses and trailers I've driven in the past. Retirement is like a trip down memory lane.
