I bought this because you can place it on different sides of a laptop monitor. I have a MacBook Pro and it's on the left side of the screen so the screen is essentially upside down. When connected to the lighting port; instantly recognizes the monitor and the correct screen orientation; So I don't have to go into settings and flip the screen or anything. The only downside to this monitor is that it lacks brightness, which in turn affects picture quality. The magnets you attach to the back of the monitor are very strong. and I had no problems falling off the screen; even walking into a separate office with a laptop in hand. I also bought a sleeve for my MacBook because I didn't want to stick the screen onto the actual computer; and is still holding up very well.
