Our cat destroyed one side of an antique sofa. I didn't want her to ruin the other side and keep scratching the torn side. This product seems to be working great! It hasn't touched a side since I put it on. It was easy to install and adjust to cover the exact area I wanted to protect and it stayed in place between the adhesion and upholstery nails.
