Review on πŸ¦… Falcon Eyes Hangman 165 BH1 Tripod: Ultimate Stability & Versatility in Black by Agata liwa ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

Quite sane Chinese tripod. Yes, not perfect, but the price is more than humane. Obvious deficiencies can be quickly eliminated. I hope that the glue will be changed and the legs in new batches will not fall out. There is a stand from Falcon Eyes. There, too, the gas shock absorber had to be disenchanted, because. shavings got inside and jammed the rubber piston. So I was not surprised at the need to finish the tripod.

Pros
  • The price is excellent in comparison with functional counterparts. But the price is due to some disadvantages.
Cons
  • First and main. Two legs are loose, the glue is disgusting. Treated with a file and epoxy glue. Second. The adapter from 3/8" to 1/4" for attaching the hook is not clear for what purpose it was invented and it is not clear where it was made. They could not immediately install a normal (large) thread in the central rod or cut a smaller one in the hook. But this will only strain if the monopod is made from two segments of the bar, and not just from the top. The unscrewing leg through the adapter does not fit well (there is no full contact with the entire area of the nickels, the adapter interferes). The upper fits well with the foot. Further. The swivel hinge of the central rod is not perfect, sometimes it β€œsticks” when turning 90 degrees and back (if desired, you can modify it with a file in the literal sense). I had to ate my review. I walked no more than 1.5 km, holding the tripod by the belt. The belt broke, we still need to sew now :)
