What I usually buy.

These are difficult to get the right fit for the shoe/boot.Manufacturers really need to take the time to getfeedback on all shoe/boot related size issues.I'm a women's 8 1/2. On a work boot with a lug soleand fairly thick leather body, a large works well.On a boot with less of a sole/heel/body, I would usea medium.For my size 8 Sorels which have a thick wool liner, Iwould use a large.Without these spikes and my ski pole to get around,I'd never be able to live where I do.
