This chair is quite comfortable and very easy to assemble. It has a lever that controls the height and a knob that tightens/loosens so you can control how far the backrest reclines forward or backward. The armrests can be adjusted by about an inch, but first you'll need to loosen the three screws that hold them in place. The chair doesn't recline, but at this price I don't think that's possible. However, the backrest leans back a little. I've also replaced the regular plastic wheels with RevoSmooth 2.5" rubber wheels and now I can virtually glide across a hardwood floor with minimal noise. I definitely recommend replacing plastic wheels with rubber wheels if you have wooden floors to avoid damaging them.
