I can't believe I bought one of these. I remember wearing these as a child and I LOATHED them. My husband laughed his butt off and kept saying "dickey" repeatedly. BUT I DON'T CARE. I do not want to layer - we live in Texas, for the love of pete and it doesn't get that cold - but I like the layered look. It is decently made. The only thing I would want to point out is that when reading reviews I saw a number of people comment that this was not made for someone a little heavier on top. * I * am heavier on top. The truth of it is, while this might be the case, this is EASILY remedied by modifying the side stays; I used additional elastic along the existing stays for a perfect fit.Would recommend. Good fabric, good craftsmanship, exactly the result I was looking for.
