This spring and summer, many people have bought "new" patio string lights with large (S14) bulbs, which are much larger than regular flickering bulbs but softer. Seeing empty shelves at Target and other stores was very popular! These bulbs for sale are the same type of bulbs that can be replaced (or for any outdoor or indoor light) to give a nice warm look. They also remind me of lightbulbs that used to be seen on glowing signs and commercials. I've used my flashlights this summer with no problems and love them. These lamps have the same base as a traditional light bulb, but they do not heat up, since their power is only 11 watts.
