I bought this pack for day trips up to 12 miles. Need space for layered clothing, food and water. I was able to fill a 3 liter bladder and all of the above. The shoulder straps were comfortable. Used for the first time today. Seems durable. I am happy with the purchase. Updated 12/21/21 After about 4 days of 5-10 mile hikes, the stitching on the center right side of the pack came undone. Disappointed, thought it would be long. In it I carry a three-liter bladder, snacks and a light jacket.
