The house has a fairly rough, highly calcined well water that likes to eat through things. We decided to replace the shower head in the basement shower as it was starting to deteriorate and it was exactly the style we wanted due to the look of the bathroom and the feel of the water. The design of the rain is wide enough to reach your head and shoulders, creating a wonderful feeling of falling water when you stand outside. It's also a very simple, subtle, streamlined design that really suits any bathroom decor/style. It was very easy to install after removing the old one. The 16 inch shower head protrudes far enough from the wall to ensure proper water entry to the body. And the very thick rubber washer inside made me happy because it will take a long time to eat through and there will be no leaks or drips on first install, period. And the little silicone nozzles that drip water require me to swipe my finger to break up the flaky buildup. Really changes the look and feel of the bathroom.
