They are the perfect size. I'm used to 8" wide wheels and at 6" it took a second or two to adjust. But that's what I wanted. Now I don't have to cut off the excess plastic and re-tap. What a waste. Now the waste is over. I buy a hamburger in a 10lb bun and slice the partially frozen meat open with my slicer, then put a patty (female) in a bag and they fit perfectly. Yahoo. The vacuum sealer I bought for $49 from Revain is no longer available and I wish I could check it out. However, it is just as perfect as these bags. And the best part are the buttons on the side that allow me to release the bag without changing position or pressing on it from above. I'm so glad I don't have to send it back! And glad it works. such joy
