Very stretchy but a little small/short

I really like this material because it is very comfortable. It's a great color too. My problem is that it fits well in the chest/shoulder/arm area but is very very short. I'm 5ft 9in, 180lbs, muscular but barely hitting my waist. When I raise my arm parallel to the floor, the shirt rises above the waist. I will go back and take a larger size as this is a quality shirt.
