I bought these pants for my 6 year old daughter who is a size 6. She is true to size and she is pretty average for her age. They seem to be made out of good cotton, not flimsy, and I've had no problem with them shrinking after a few washes. They are cropped pant length compared to true Capri length (longer - just a few inches above the ankle compared to mid-calf). I had to buy several different sets to get the colors I wanted (pink, light purple and aqua) but that's ok. There is enough color variety to suit almost any wardrobe. I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 simply because they are longer than regular capris, so I think they could be misrepresented in that particular detail. I would recommend them and consider buying them again.
