The mirror was well packaged, it comes in (1) box containing all three pieces, which were repaired thick styrofoam. Nothing chipped or damaged. Assembly is easy when both sides slide evenly. The left half seemed to fit perfectly, sliding all the way down and staying in place. The right side is not so easy. I had to make several attempts to attach it and the first few times it didn't slide all the way down and came off easily. The only thing I didn't like was the raw edges on the mirror showing the styrofoam inside, tasteless and ugly! But later I was able to use this area to attach my LED lights which are also ugly (when not lit) so this worked on my behalf. But if you don't plan on lighting or painting the area and you don't like the unfinished look, think twice. But overall I like the mirror and I think it will last a long time. I really wish they had included some sort of panel to attach it to the back of the vanity for added strength, although it sits on its own.
