I bought this mainly for the cable management aspect and to see if my mouse would feel like a wireless mouse. It actually helped and made it easier to move the mouse, but it won't blow your mind. If your cable has been managed to drag across the table and make movement uncomfortable, I'd recommend that, but if your mouse movement doesn't seem to change, then you don't get it.
