But the quality is good. in Computers & Accessories

Build quality exceeded expectations. All aluminum body, robber legs, nice and heavy and highly polished on the side. And for that many ports on a USB 3 glad it's powered. However, while using it, I found that there were 2 things that bothered me. They are design related, so "issues" don't matter. First: LEDs The mirror finish is good, but the strip lays flat on my desk and reflects my monitor's light better than the LEDs. I have no idea what is included or not. The LEDs are too recessed (horrible viewing angles) and the reflectivity doesn't help. Second: orientation/accessibility Do you want to see LEDs or use buttons? You must be on the same page. I have to reach for USB cables/flash drives to turn it on or off. On my desk, the USB ports are hidden by buttons, so this is a guess and a test. Rotating it so the buttons are facing me helps, but I can't see the LED at an angle, and the buttons don't differ much from their on/off states.
