I forget to write many reviews to fix it, but this time I had to. So many reviewers pointed out that the memory card reader wasn't working and I was so confident that I wouldn't have another memory card reader today. But it works! I bought a TF card for a security camera to keep an eye on my aviaries and what animals visit me at night. Last night was the first try and this morning I brought the security camera back to my house thinking I would need to play back the footage on the security camera until I got my new card reader. After playing it I thought I might as well see whether the reader works at all. I plugged it into a USB port on my desktop (nothing special, but it's only a few years old, if that matters). Then I put the TF card into the slot, went to Control Panel/Hardware/Devices and right clicked the USB2 icon. Nothing. I removed and replaced the reader to make sure the icon represents that device. Yes, it did, so I moved the TF card around a bit and pushed it back and forth while continuing to right-click the icon. After a couple of times a menu appeared next to the icon and I was able to play footage from the game camera, which I'll have to review after a few weeks of use too, I hope I remember. Anyway, YES it works. I removed it, replaced it and tried again. It worked again! If it stops working after a short while, or I have something to add to this review, I will. But for now, both the TF card and the reader seem to work well and the price for both was very good. and went to Control Panel/Hardware/Devices and right clicked on the USB2 icon. Nothing.
