Good first camera! for Point & Shoot Digital Cameras

As my name suggests, this was the first digital camera I bought for myself and for that reason it suited me. and fits comfortably in your pocket. The dark "slate" finish is amazing (black is oddly my favorite color). The camera has a variety of fun settings for you to play around with. I like to shoot with the "Pop" setting, which makes the colors more saturated. There is also a setting that allows you to take pictures with cool or warm tones. And finally there is a setting that allows the camera to take black and white photos and extract only a specific color from the frame (only red, blue, green or yellow objects/landscapes are colored). These settings are fun and can reduce some editing and add cool effects to your photos. A crop tool is built right into the camera, which is also a nice feature. Finally, the amazing price makes this choice affordable for everyone. Finally, some of the flaws I found on this camera. First of all, many images are blurry. This can be very annoying. Even with a steady hand, or even with a tripod, they can still appear blurry. This mostly happens in low light conditions, but using a flash can only help occasionally. I can almost forget clear shots at night. I have found that I often have to repeat and repeat photos. I have taken it to museums where this problem can be very annoying. Another issue I've noticed (which is actually my fault) is that sometimes the 5x optical zoom just doesn't work. Sometimes I wish I had bought a 10x or 20x zoom camera. Overall I like this camera, but I'm not thrilled with it. I would prefer the Canon Coolpix to this camera as it is convenient and can capture high quality images with no motion blur. I've had this camera for a little less than a year and I'm already looking for the best on the market.
