I've always been a bit skeptical about using third-party Xbox accessories for controllers and such, but decided to give it a try. It works well and as intended, and I like the fact that you don't have to "lock" the controller. Just place it on the rack and the contact points will align automatically. It's also a flat stand, so if you place it in front of your TV, it shouldn't get in the way of your viewing. The batteries aren't bad either, they seem to hold a decent charge (we played around 4-5 hours the other day and lost about half the charge). You can tell the device is made out of cheap plastic, but for the price I wouldn't break a sweat. The cable that comes with it is also a bit short, barely enough for where I wanted to attach it, but it's a standard USB phone charging cable so it won't be hard to find a longer one at a great price. .It's cheap and does the job, which is a good thing. If you're looking for a third-party solution to charge your controller and don't want to spend too much, this is a great deal. Having just bought this, I don't know how long the batteries will actually last. and whether there are other complications. Will update if necessary. The charger still works great and the batteries still last about 8 hours when I play. The contact points both inside and outside of batteries get dirty over time, but that's normal with things like this and very easy to clean. I'm genuinely surprised at how well it's held up over the past year, especially considering how roughly I toss the controller on the charger most of the time. It has already outlived one controller, and at this point it will most likely outlive my others as well. Good product. Holy cow.
