4 stars - but I returned it

Love the concept of this product. I've been looking for something similar for years. When I found this I was shocked at the low price. I ordered it immediately. As soon as I received it, I noticed the low price. The strap is the thinnest and lowest quality I've seen on a product like this and there is no redundancy in the stitching. I think I could easily cut it with regular scissors. In other words, how many camera straps have you worn through? For me the answer is zero. I've read 5 star reviews on here saying buy a second or third spare harness because it feels so good. But should the former ever be replaced? Are materials and construction a deal killer? Absolutely not. This product is convenient to use and should work well with a lightweight DSLR/ILC or binoculars. Because it hangs on two shoulders instead of just one, even if seams or gear fail over time, no gear should fall to the ground. However, I recommend considering the prices. I would have no problem hanging $700 gear on this strap. But the $7,000 gear makes me suspicious. I don't want to appear on a photoblog as a cautionary tale.

Pros
  • Easy installation
