Bought because my Bose QC20 (wired) headphone jack had failed and I just couldn't justify buying another $200 product that lasted no less than a year of normal use. Enter Phiaton's Bluetooth product, which was reviewed positively on The Wirecutter and sold for a quarter the price of a Bose product. I travel A LOT and have always preferred wired devices so the purchase was a big transition for me. I liked the portability and the wireless/manual connection to audio content on my phone or iPad. I assume these headphones got around 4-6 hours of use each week. The noise canceling function worked quite well until this weekend. After five months of ownership, I started getting static in my left earcup when the noise cancellation was on. As soon as I turned it off, the noise was gone and my content was clear and had no noticeable issues. At the end of my activity I switched it off and charged it. Packed a bag for the road this morning - and then put it on in the afternoon and now they don't even turn on anymore. I'm pretty sure I don't have a manufacturer replacement window
