Protects against rain
The case itself is made of excellent material. It only rained a week after I bought it and protected it from it. The only downside is that the ground is not 100% covered as advertised. 100% coverage means no water penetrates. However, the cover is missing or needs to have more velcro at the bottom to fully protect the TV. I've found that small gaps let water in and you'll find that you open it up like I did and let out all the water that was inside. As a result, the cover did its job and protected the TV from the rain, but I was a little confused by small gaps at the bottom.
