I bought it a few weeks before my vacation and didn't open it until I was on vacation. I was surprised when I opened it and found so little in the container. I was so surprised that I took photos to complain and later write a review about it. I actually used it and it seemed like a good cream. Of course I forgot and wanted to order more, but I started looking at some of the photos that were posted with reviews. I was shocked to see how much I was missing from the container I received. There are two possibilities, one is a manufacturing issue which resulted in my container being filled with very little, or two, they sent me an open and half used container. I think they sent me a semi used product which I find absolutely disgusting. I remember there wasn't any plastic around the lid, but it did have a paper lid that seemed to come off a lot easier than I expected. I should have known right away because of the amount left in the container. I don't know how it could pass quality control there, if there is any. I can't think of a company that would just send a returned product back without checking whether someone used it or not. It's disgusting to think I used something someone else hacked with their dirty fingers. Unacceptable.
