Definitely waterproof (tested with a full cup of water) and stays in place. But it smells a bit weird and it took a few washes for the smell to go away. Doesn't make any noise, can't tell it's there unless you cover it with a sheet. Fits well on my double pillow top mattress. (It's common to have trouble finding sheets with deep enough pockets) Comes with a different brand and no washing instructions for safe storage? Found a bit fishy but still good quality and protects your mattress from spills or sweat. Ordered to protect an expensive mattress from sweat (rough, but we all sweat when we sleep) and food/drink spills for a long time.
