Review on Acoustic system Edifier R1580MB black by Jaewon Hahm ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

High detail and low noise have a downside: listening to music at a volume above average with a bit rate below 192 is a mockery of the ears, all the jambs of the MP3 format come out. 320 bit is better, WAV is good, FLAC is excellent. You'll have to download music to your computer, like in the good old days. In connection with the nuance described in the "disadvantages" I am looking for a 2.1 system with the same signal-to-noise ratio as a replacement, I tend to Edifier XM6PF. I didn’t lower the score for the shortcomings, since they are a design feature of 2.0 speakers of this size, you don’t have to expect deep bass from a 4" speaker, you need at least 6" for this, but this will not allow you to achieve the same depth as a subwoofer, in force of a different suspension design.

Pros
  • The sound is detailed and clear. I don’t think it’s worth talking about the depth of the stage in this price segment, and acoustics 2.0, in principle, are not very suitable for this. Instruments sound natural, voices too. The volume is enough for a normal room. Can be installed in a niche, because FI port on the front. At high volume it does not choke, subjectively - there is a minimum of distortion. Works out its value in its frequency range. The acoustics are almost universal.
Cons
  • I didn't expect deep bass from them, so I didn't hear it, but for someone it might be a revelation. It is not suitable for listening to rock and metal with low basses, for repchin in most of it - too. It is important to note that after 2-3 days, the development of low frequencies improves slightly. I didn't like the sound of Nightwish - Ever dream.
