I was surprised that toddler shoes are made quite narrow for fashion reasons. This is terrible for the development of their feet and fingers. (I've worn tight shoes my whole life and have been dealing with ingrown toes for years now.) So I wanted to make sure my kid's shoes were comfortable, breathable, and wide enough to accommodate their fat little toes. That's it! I finally found the perfect shoes! They are so strong, light and wide! A few dollars more makes a big difference. I love the fact that it's made for water because my boy can always find a puddle to play in. If he does, I can just hand wash and dry them. I'm so happy I found the perfect pair of shoes for my boy.
