When first turned on, the camera just started making clicks from the speaker. After about 20 minutes in this mode, she twisted the camera a couple of times and again switched to "click mode". Replacing the power cord did not help (there are two of them, by the way, and both are the same length). But it helped to replace the power supply. Apparently the one in the kit is not working. With another block, the camera was successfully activated. But in fact it turned out that the speaker (the one that clicked) did not work for her. Instead of the turn-on tone and speech transmitted through the microphone, only a low hiss is heard. The indicator light on the camera (which should have turned green when turned on) also shows no signs of life. The camera was bought for installation in the nursery and monitoring the crib, so for me this is not critical, but the fact remains.
