We have the rose gold version. In my opinion the face is downright coppery and has a bit of an industrial/art deco/steampunk/superman feel to it. I even like it somehow. The "shiny ring" has very little glitter and is more like carbide grit on an industrial cutting tool. One of the good points is the Japanese movement; The really bad point is that the sides or edges of the strap are rough, like rough sanding marks under a shiny finish. Neither my wife nor I like this watch but it seems too masculine for a woman and too feminine for most men. Well, there are people like that these days.
