This 16 inch round lighted vanity mirror is larger than I intended but is really useful for those who have space for it. I use it on my desk and it's nice as I can sit as close to it as I need to. The mirror is so big that even if I sit close to it, I can see my whole face, shoulders and chest because of my poor eyesight. It's a bit bulky but easy to move as it's not heavy. The base is about 6 inches deep so I just slide it back when not in use. An assembly is not required. This is a lighted mirror that has a conventional plug instead of a battery. The cord is about 5 feet (60 inches) long and I find it quite long when using this mirror on a vanity or table while seated, which I think is intentional. I connect mine to an extension cord with no problems. This mirror has circular stripes that provide great lighting and is easy to adjust with three different shades and a touch dimmer. This mirror gives a clear reflection without distortion. It tilts to a horizontal position. It is one sided and has no magnification, which I personally miss without glasses despite my poor eyesight as I can sit close enough to see well. The base is large (about 13 inches wide and 6 inches deep) so the mirror looks well balanced and won't tip over easily. I find the mirror more functional than elegant, but this is a beautiful, practical large mirror with light. Pleases. 4 stars.
