Pros and cons, mostly cons

So this isn't my first rodeo with compression stockings. I have several pairs and wear them to the hospital where I work. I figured toeless socks would help keep my feet cool. I wear women's shoes size US 8, so I took a size up. Wearing without action was not a problem. But once I started running, I noticed a few problems. The first problem is that these socks don't stay in place. The fabric around my ankle slipped down on its own, almost squeezing my foot. I kept pulling her up. The second issue is that the compression around my toes seemed to get worse the longer I walked. When I took off my socks, my fingers looked swollen. The third problem is that they didn't really cool my feet. They held my sweat well, so taking them off was not very comfortable. The fourth issue was that I didn't notice any arch support with these socks. I also got blisters on my toes from rubbing my shoes, but I can't blame the socks for that.
